Verizon is always looking to connect better, faster, and clearer. A recent presentation by the company at the CES included a parade of 10 brand new products that will flourish with the new blistering network speeds of the 4G LTE wireless network. All of these new items are due to come out within the next six months.
New Verizon 4G Smartphones
• The brand-spanking-new HTC Thunderbolt, with Android 2.2 may or may not be upgradeable to Android 2.3.
• Droid Bionic is the next generation Droid X with a 4.3-inch screen, 8mp camera, rubberized grip case, 16 GB on-board storage, 1-GHz dual-core processor, and stutter-free apps and screen movements.
• LG’s Revolution, by HTC, will also be using Android 2.2 and showing it off on a 4.3-inch screen. Some of the extra goodies on this beauty are DLNA, HDMI port, the ability to act as a hotspot with allowance to share that network with up to eight of your friends, and Bluetooth 3.0.
• A new Samsung phone was dangled before the audience, but it did not yet have a name. This phone will sport a 4.3-inch Super Amoled Plus display screen and will be upgradeable to Gingerbread, a.k.a. Adroid 2.3.
New Verizon 4G Notebook Computers
• HP Pavilion dm0-3010nr is a small notebook computer that can connect to Verizon’s LTE network.
• Compaq CQ10-688nr is another small notebook computer that is equipped with Verizon LTE capabilities.
New Verizon 4G Tablets
• A new version of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is hopping over to Verizon LTE.
• The Motorola Xoom, another Tablet with 4G technology, just debuted.
New Verizon Mobile HotSpot Devices
• Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotpot can connect to a 3G or 4G network and can support up to five additional devices,
• MiFi 4510L Intelligent Mobile Hotspot is also able to support up to five additional devices while connecting to a 3G or 4G network.
